From 2011 I am a member of the Unione Matematica Italiana (UMI) and of the Gruppo Nazionale per il Calcolo Scientifico (GNCS). From 2021 I am a member of the Società Italiana di Matematica Applicata e Industriale (SIMAI)
Research
My research interest is in the theory of approximation and more precisely on scattered data interpolation. In particular I have been working on:
- Scattered data interpolation by Shepard operators.
- Scattered data interpolation by triangular Shepard Method.
- Quadrature and cubature formulas on the simplex.
- Collocation methods through multinode operators.
